Heavenly Merriment

The night sky – deep and velvety –
Stars burning with great intensity,
Shimmering in song and dance,
Warming the chill think in the air,
Rumbling a great hope deep into the soul.

Stirring a longing for those gazing,
But many know not for what,
Or for who, they long;
But the longing is ever present,
Growing desperate like an itch beyond reach.

These Heavenly bodies sing their glorious melody,
Spreading merriment and peace – momentarily –
Into this chaotic chasm of boisterous souls.
If we train our ears, it’s the Angelic voices,
Still singing the glory of the born King.

  1. Lovely 🙂 Do we need to ever train our ears to listen to the Divine; definitely worth it 😉
